1. Information We Collect

The BillBox app collects and uses the following types of information:

• Bill Data: Information you enter in the app (such as bill titles, expiry dates, and tags) is stored locally on your device only.
• Google Account Information: If you sign in with Google, we collect basic account details such as your email address and display name. This is handled securely via Firebase Authentication and used solely for login purposes.

2. Permissions We Request

The BillBox app may request the following permissions:

• Notification Access: To send you reminders before your bills expire.
• Camera Access: To allow you to capture images of your bills using your device's camera.
• Media/Storage Access: To enable you to pick bill images from your device’s gallery or save them locally.
• Network Access: Required for Google Sign-In, subscription verification, and Play Store functionality.

We do not access your contacts, location, or other personal files.

3. Data Storage and Security

All your bill data is stored securely on your device. We do not upload or store your bills on external servers.

Google Sign-In credentials are managed by Firebase Authentication and secured using industry-standard encryption.

If you uninstall the app, all locally stored bill data is permanently deleted unless backed up by your device’s system backup (if applicable).

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to support app functionality and stability:

• Google Sign-In (OAuth): Used to authenticate users securely with their Google account.
• Firebase Authentication: Manages login and user identity securely.
• Firebase Analytics: Helps us understand basic app usage patterns. We do not log sensitive or custom personal data.
• Firebase Crashlytics: Collects crash reports to improve app stability. No personally identifiable information is shared.

All payments and subscriptions are handled securely by the Google Play Store. We do not have access to your payment details.

5. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time. Upon request, we will permanently delete your Firebase Authentication account and any data linked with it.

6. Children’s Privacy

BillBox is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
